Hexane  C6H14  can have a total of 5 different isomers. Here are the structural formulas of each isomer:1. n-Hexane  normal hexane :   CH3-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH32. 2-Methylpentane  isohexane :   CH3-CH CH3 -CH2-CH2-CH33. 3-Methylpentane:   CH3-CH2-CH CH3 -CH2-CH34. 2,2-Dimethylbutane:   CH3-C CH3 2-CH2-CH35. 2,3-Dimethylbutane:   CH3-CH CH3 -CH CH3 -CH3These are all the possible isomers of hexane.
