The dipole moment of carbon dioxide  CO2  is zero. This is because CO2 has a linear molecular shape, with the carbon atom in the center and the two oxygen atoms symmetrically positioned on either side. The carbon-oxygen bonds in CO2 are polar due to the difference in electronegativity between carbon and oxygen atoms. However, the linear geometry of the molecule causes the individual bond dipoles to cancel each other out, resulting in an overall dipole moment of zero. This means that CO2 is a nonpolar molecule despite having polar bonds.
