Antisocial Personality Disorder is a personality disorder characterised by a disregard for the rights of others, as well as a lack of empathy and remorse. Sociopathy is a term used colloquially to describe someone who exhibits antisocial behaviour, but it is not a clinical diagnosis. This is in line with the behavioural theory of personality.
