Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder is a personality disorder characterised by a preoccupation with orderliness, perfectionism, and control. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is an anxiety disorder characterised by recurrent intrusive thoughts or images and a compulsion to perform repetitive behaviours or mental acts in response to those thoughts. This is in line with the cognitive theory of personality.
