What is the difference between OCD and hoarding disorder?

OCD is characterised by recurrent obsessions and/or compulsions, while hoarding disorder is characterised by persistent difficulty discarding or parting with possessions, due to a perceived need to save them, regardless of their actual value or usefulness.
