particle

Boron neutron capture therapy is a potential treatment for many diseases. As the name implies, when boron10, one of the naturally occurring isotopes of boron, is bombarded with neutrons, it absorbs a neutron and emits an  particle. Write a balanced nuclear reaction for this reaction. One advantage of this process is that neutrons cause little damage on their own, but when they are absorbed by boron-10, they can cause localized emission of alpha radiation. Comment on the utility of this treatment and its potential difficulties.
